Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure

THE CLIENT
Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure is Bravehearts’ personal safety education program, designed to give children age-appropriate knowledge and skills to help them recognise unsafe situations, understand personal boundaries and seek help when they feel unsafe or unsure. The program supports schools, early childhood settings, parents and carers, with educational shows, resources and information designed to make personal safety education engaging and accessible for children.

The challenge

As Ditto’s program and resources grew, its information was housed within the broader Bravehearts website. With increasing content and several distinct audiences—including schools, early childhood educators, parents and carers—Ditto needed a dedicated digital home of its own. The challenge was to create a standalone website with a carefully considered user experience that could organise a growing volume of information, make different user journeys intuitive and maintain clear connections back to Bravehearts where required.

What we did

We built the Ditto website from the ground up, covering sitemap strategy, UX, UI and development while working within the program’s existing brand identity. The site was structured around Ditto’s key audiences, making it easier to explore personal safety education, access resources, understand the program and find relevant next steps. We developed custom forms integrated with HubSpot, eCommerce-ready functionality and flexible page-builder templates with custom modules, giving the Ditto team greater control over managing and expanding the site. Booking and donation pathways connect users to the relevant external platforms, while the website was developed with WCAG accessibility compliance in mind.

What changed

For the first time, Ditto has a dedicated digital platform rather than its growing content being housed within the broader Bravehearts website. Information is now organised around clearer user journeys, giving schools, educators, parents and carers easier access to the content and resources relevant to them. Behind the scenes, a custom CMS and flexible page-building system give the Ditto team the ability to manage, update and grow the website as the program evolves. The result is a standalone digital presence that gives Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure its own space to grow while remaining clearly connected to Bravehearts.
